What do you guys think? I think it’s pretty accurate.

Yeah whats with changing the gun names

Is this like Fifa vs PeS when Fifa had all the rights or something

  2. TopFaithlessness7002

Pretty good. I’d give the camp grind and weapon grind to 2018 though. Mw2 has the worst weapon unlock and attachment unlock system I’ve ever seen. They say it makes it faster but it just makes it more annoying

  3. Graphics would be both imo, like the aesthetic of MW19 more, but yes for FOV and everything else

Has better maps. I … Don’t think so .. maybe if they added the museum map at launch. Right now with Taraq and The highway with 4 million cars exploding and shit? Nope.

Better graphics.. both seem okay, if anything I liked the aesthetic of MW19 better .. MW22 guns feel plastic to look at in the inspect option. The skins don’t look crazy either ..

More Season 1 content, but still less content than MWII launched with (MW19 launched with 6 maps and added 3…we’ll have 12 in MWII by the end of Season 1).

Real gun names? Only the non-patented/copyrighted ones.

Lots of subjective stuff otherwise, but you do you.

  6. Better maps? Ayy lmao. Graphics? Not even RTX in MWII

  7. BadFlatulence

Im sure the community is still split over this, but mw2019 had excellent maps at launch.

Arklov Peak, Azhir Cave, Grazna Raid, Rammaza, Gun Runner, Hackney yard. even… shoothouse was launch? or shortly after i dont remember.

Piccadily, St Petrograd and Aniyah were good too… I mean people hated them but they were still fun, interesting, and replayable to an extent.

Plus you had all the gunfight maps which were cool

Euphrates bridge sucked farts out of my grandmothers backside.

I dunno to each their own

Add in Has a proper Hardcore mode that isn’t garbage for MW19

  9. ChemicalRatio

Actually The MWII UI is so bad it counts as minus two points.

I think a big reason there are no longer real gun names in video games is because of the verdict of the Sandy Hook lawsuit. The lawyer representing the parents attributed the magazines being taped together as something from CoD (double mag perk). The lawyer argued that real guns being in video games was a form of marketing guns to children. Since this decision a few years ago, games have been hesitant to put real names on the guns and manufacturers are no longer allowing licensing of their guns.

I reverted back to 2019. I just can’t get down with MW2 for several of the reasons listed in the OP’s chart, specifically the GW maps and audio issues.

  12. What ever happened to that museum map that was playable in beta for MW2? I haven’t seen it since??

  13. 2019 had gun fight the main reason I got the game

  14. silvrado

MW2 UI and operator animations feel like something that was iterated over CW and VG. MW19 still feels so much more refined.. that is until the WZ integration shit all over it.

  15. ChillenDylan3530

Opinions are opinions, and MWII has bad maps compared to MW2019.

  16. Calm-Dish2893

Some of these don’t have the weight of others considering mw2 has better maps and better movement along with better graphics and a FOV for consoles it’s a major improvement. When it comes to the atrocious lag in warzone 2/DMZ it needs to be thrown in the trash

  17. brad7724

It’s subjective obviously but IMO MW ‘19 was a far superior game and the maps were way better.

Additionally I like the looting and movement mechanics of Warzone 1 more than Warzone 2.

Even the vehicles feel like crap.

  18. beanistike

cherrypicking, mwii also has a lot of things over mw19

  19. AllHighAustin

D O O R S. The only thing the COD community can agree on.

  20. danyaylol

I prefer MW2019 graphics. MW2022 looks muddy and just..off. Especially operators, they look like they have layers of makeup as their skin texture.

  21. Real gun names is huge for me. I know some of the launch gun names were fake but they at least seemed like they were real, like the M13 versus hearing “Lachmann sub”. MW19 to my mind did a proper job of capturing the atmosphere of the original MW series. MW2022 seems, atmosphere-wise, more like a treyarch game. I skipped it entirely for these reasons and more

  22. Electronic-Morning76

I don’t see any mention of the gunplay and feel of the gameplay here. Modern Warfare 19 gunplay and feel were the best in the history of the franchise.

  23. ImGonnaBeAPicle

Honestly I don’t see a difference in graphics whatsoever

  24. cjanuary27

Do people really think the maps are better in MW2? Idk maybe I’m in the minority here but I think MW2019 had some of the best maps in recent cod’s.

  25. chavezlaw78

I am happy find out people generally don’t like the UI for MW2. It’s honestly atrocious

  26. Rickaloff

Only thing I would change is the graphics, idk if it’s because the lighting it better or if it was so new at the time but everytime I see 2019 vs 2022 gameplay side by side 2019’s looks better

  27. Pretty accurate, though one is month old, the other 4 years old.

But investing on real gun names would’ve probably be nicer than investing on soccer player operator (from a player perspective)
