I know I would’ve died anyways but it’s so fucking annoying especially on the start of a match when you’d like to change guns on the fly fighting multiple enemies. Also doesn’t make any sense.

Because the community wanted the game to be slowed down so much that they made it to where any sort of quick thinking/movements such as something as simple as swapping guns became a pain in the ass.
And no this is not an exaggeration. I’m also referring to how you drop ammo even if you accidentally pick up a gun you don’t want

If you have it set to prioritise tap to interact you would have to hold the interact key here, dunno if you were tapping it or not

Best you can do is swap to your other gun and then pick it up.

My guess is you have auto reload on when empty. Your mag is empty, but you still have ammo. It is auto reloading for you. The reload animation seemingly cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.

The issue is you should be able to stop the reload animation but you can’t. In WZ1 not only could you stop the reload animation but you could interact while reloading. Just another step backwards in this game.

that’s why infinity ward took out every mechanic that somehow made the game more fluid
