I have an MLLSE RX 580 8GB 2048SP with a PANDA R582 V1.3 PCB. The card is detected through PCIe, but it does not initialize properly.
In GPU-Z, it shows up as Ellesmere / Polaris 20 XL, Device ID 1002:6FDF, Subsystem 1002:0B31, and PCIe x8 3.0, but it reports:
VRAM: 0 MB
Bus Width: Unknown
GPU Clock: 0 MHz
Memory Clock: 0 MHz
Shaders: 0
TMUs: 0
Sensors: no readings
The card does not output any video from its own ports, and in Windows it stays as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter with Code 31.
The physical memory chips are SK hynix H5GC8H24AJR-R2C. I have already tried more than one RX 580 2048SP VBIOS, including 015.050.002.001.000000 and 015.050.002.001.007811, but the behavior remained exactly the same.
The card is receiving power, the 8-pin connector is properly connected, and the fans spin as soon as the PC is turned on.
Has anyone dealt with a PANDA R582 V1.3 showing these exact symptoms? At this point I’m starting to suspect VRAM, memory/Vcore power delivery, or possibly the GPU itself, but I’d like to hear some opinions before moving on to electrical diagnostics.
