I recently bought an RX 9070 for $550 and flashed it with the XT VBIOS – it's good.
The stock temperatures are 60°C on the chip, 78°C on the memory, and 77°C on the hot spot – 220W, 1000 RPM fans.
Flashing the XT VBIOS from the RX 9070 Asrock Steel Legend increases the temperatures to 61°C, 84°C, and 86°C, respectively – 304W, 1600 RPM fans.
Setting the card to -75mV, -320 MHz core, 334W limits the maximum frequency to 3 GHz, while gaming power consumption ranges from 220W to 270W. In my opinion, this is the best setting.
Regarding the warranty, i dont have warranty, but i don't see any problem with flashing it back to the stock VBIOS if necessary.
What do you think, was the result a success?
