My fiancé and I have been working tirelessly on our dream as a steam project, and it's finally live as a Steam Playtest!
We started this journey not just out of a shared passion for game development, but with a personal goal in mind: to build something together that could help launch the next big chapter of our lives, Getting married and moving in together!
★ About the game: It's an incremental game called Piñata Smash: Incremental Circus, where you literally smash piñatas under a circus spotlight! We put a lot of heart into the vibes, art style, and design to make the circus atmosphere feel satisfying and fun.
Making a game as a couple has been filled with late-night brainstorming, endless playtesting, and learning how to balance creative ideas together, As a 2D artist with very little game dev experience, this 4-month journey was exhausting, but seeing our own work live on a platform like Steam makes every sleepless night totally worth it.
Ultimately, we hope this game will help us build a life together so we can keep making even more games in the future!
