Trying to get the most out of my 14700K on DDR4, I encountered that my core 0 drops to 800mhz randomly. Both during load (more rare) and during idle.
My Setup:
Intel 14700k
Gigabyte Z690 UD DDR4
Corsair Dominator 4000C18
RTX 3080 Ti
From everything I know this is not intended (I first noticed the issues through random stutters in games).
What did not change anything:
Disabling any power saving features (C-states and so on. I am using the default high performance power plan but on balanced the same thing happens)
Disabling XMP
Changing the BIOS Settings to default
Different CPU (tried a 13600kf, same behavior)
Different Motherboard (Tried a ASUS D4 board, same behavior)
Different RAM (Tried a 3600c16 kit from Micron)
When I first got this setup (back then i used a 13600kf) this was not happening.
