This event makes no sense to me. We're supposed to bid for random items that always come out to less than what you paid for, but you're bidding against real players… Thats about all I've learned about the container auction at this point.
You need at least $500k to even bid on the "High Value" side, but you can bid as low as $300k-3m??? The amount of Metro cash you have determines how high you can bid up to 3 million.
I've figures this much out…
What makes ABSOLUTELY no sense to me, is if the maximum bid is 3m, why wouldn't everyone just place 3m bids and win the auction every time to get a chance at the Karambit??
Do the bids from the Container auction come out of our actual Metro cash? Because I bid 350k and didn't lose anything when I lost. And I ran out of bids before I could test it, but I don't think I lost any cash when I won either.
