Resident Evil Requiem is the latest title in the franchise; it was released in February 2026 and is one of the highest-selling games of the year with over 8 million copies sold. Before that, the previous release was Resident Evil 4 Remake, which came out in 2023.
During Summer Game Fest 2026, Capcom announced the remake for Resident Evil Code: Veronica, and it’s set to be released in 2027. Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi shared some details and plans for the franchise.
