I've grinded to the top 5k this season with the default swtichblade, and I bought the mythic one when it dropped a few days ago. I started playing with the mythic and something felt wrong right away. At first, I thought it was just me not being used to it, so I played a lot more with it, but it kept feeling off… Then I switched back to the default, and I was doing a lot better.
I read some reviews from pro players on that gun, and they were saying the mythic version has more aim shake—which I felt, too—and that some bullets weren't registering.. and every pro player uses the default switchblade in championships instead of the mythic one. I also watched some of their partner streamers where they promote the mythic one, but they switch to the default one mid-game, just like I do. I was planning to max it out, but I changed my mind. Honestly, it feels so ridiculous that I have better accuracy and play way better with the default skin than with the gun I paid a ton of money for.
On top of that, after I bought the switchblade and a few other guns, I claimed the groza from the prestige store, and it sounds very loud. That weapon has been in the game for a while now, too.
It’s just so sad. We’re sitting here expecting them to fix basic game issues, while they're at such a level of carelessness that they don't even bother fixing the very weapons they profit from.
