When a collective team of this calibre rallies around a passion project, expectations naturally rise. If they can channel that experience into something fresh and fearless, this could be far more than another indie release; it could be one of those rare games that remind players why they fell in love with gaming in the first place.
Dung Ho! is a cooperative, single-player, physics-based game inspired by the real adventures of dung beetles. Designed to be played with friends, players must work together to roll a ball of dung across a hazardous African environment, dealing with terrain, obstacles, and physics that are exaggerated for fun but loosely based on real-world behaviour – scientifically accurate-ish.
Dung Ho! combines cooperative play with approachable, skill-agnostic mechanics, challenging players to protect, repair, and guide their ball past environmental hazards and the unpredictable decisions of their teammates. Built for 30-60 minute sessions and friends-only multiplayer, the game transforms a seemingly simple mission into chaotic moments of teamwork, tension, and humor.
You may ask why, when initially released a few months ago, such a creative, drop-dead looking title, was overlooked by gamers and media! SIMPLE – there was no PR or fan-fare, no news, etc…
