Last week, GamesIndustry.biz once again hosted the great and good of the UK games industry at our annual summer party, held once again on Brighton Pier during the Develop: Brighton conference.

The event was sponsored by Renaissance PR and Green Man Gaming, and took place squarely through the duration of the England-Argentina World Cup semi-final, which we screened at the venue (with a separate football-free terrace for those who didn’t want to watch).

While the football did not go the way that many would have wished, the party was a hit: the sold-out crowd was able to meet old friends and make new connections in the sunshine after a long day at the busiest Develop yet. Thanks to all who came, and to our sponsors for supporting it. You can view a selection of photos from the evening in the gallery below.

The Summer Party will return next year, as will Develop, which will take place from July 13-15, 2027. The next GamesIndustry.biz event will be our HR Summit, which takes place on Oct 1st at the Royal Institution in London, and will also host the Best Places To Work Awards UK. UK businesses can enter for the latter right now, with entries closing on Friday 21st August.
