VDDG CCD/IOD are both 870mV.
This post is mostly an update to my previous one where I got 62ns and asked for some opinions on any improvements.
The big latency droppers are going to nitro 1/2/0, dropping trfc2/sb a ton and a fclk of 2167mhz on top of it.
I tried to manually validate my drive strengths by voltage starving things until one set of values stopped posting before the other, and seems to work?
I moved on to trying to manually probe and determine optimal rtt values. Honestly just spun my wheels I didn’t get any good results and just left it on auto.
Then I lowered VDDP to 0.91, vsoc down to 1.13v and lowered VDDG both to 870mv. I didn’t think I could run those voltages on this cpu with the fclk at 2167 but I opened my mouth in the comments section and got humbled pretty quickly here. Caused me to try again and yeah just turns out I had no idea what I was doing.
All tests stable that I ran, 8 hours vt3 and 16 hour absolut and the ryzen profile for 4 hours.
GDM was a hard wall, I couldn’t get it to post at all even reverting nitro back to 1/2/1 and raising vsoc.
Same deal with 3100 MCLK/UCLK, wouldn’t never get past training. If it’s worth revisiting either of those I’d be happy to try again with any tips.
So far no issues running it outside my test environment, no audio issues or stutters in games.
Would anybody be interested in seeing comparisons with 1% and 0.1% lows in games or something if I compiled a few benchmarks together?
