To be honest I'm starting to lose the interest in PC gaming because of articles like these. I know that stuff is expensive, and personally I'm able to afford expensive hardware without problems, but I'm starting to lose the interest in investing my money on hardware if shit like cloud gaming is the future. At some point it doesn't sound like hardware might be available for people like us, no matter how much money we have.
I know some people here are fuelling this future, and will come with comments like "but GeForce now is great". No, it's not. The latency is noticeable, and the picture isn't that good. And the $20 you pay for 100 hours a month might be $60 for 30 hours once the mass market is locked in. They can control that, you can't.
The future is just sad.
