People are flocking to BO1 and BO2 because they’re simple, and actually fun. No dumb sliding, no broken movement, no “skill gap” gimmicks that turn every lobby into a circus. The success of the BO and BO2 ports proved something Activision should’ve known years ago: the community wants classic Call of Duty, MW4 is going to be anything but that.
Releasing these ports is a step in the right direction in finally rewarding the people who’ve been screwed over for years. If they want to keep people on COD, MW4 isn’t going to be enough, they need to port or remaster both MW2 and MW3. The BO ports already showed the demand is real. The community has spoken loud and clear. If Activision knew what was good for them, they’d stop forcing “innovation” nobody asked for and give players what they’ve been begging for: MW2 and MW3 ports or a full remaster.
