As the name suggests, Vendetta is built around iconic enemies facing off, with Champion pairings like Shen and Zed and Mel and Ambessa leading the charge. Alongside the new Champions come three new mechanics that should shake up gameplay.

Spell card Twilight Shroud featuring a crouching ninja-like figure weaving wind, green accents, and bold card text. Grants a friendly unit +1 shield this turn and cannot be targeted by enemy spells or abilities.

Flow lets players play cards from their trash, Burn fuels strategies by sending cards from the Main Deck to the trash, and Empower allows cards to become stronger after they’ve already entered play, giving players more flexibility as matches progress.

Riot is also introducing Showdown Decks, a new two-player product containing two ready-to-play decks in a single box. The first release asks a simple question: Shen or Zed?

Collectors have something to chase as well, with signed Overnumbered Legends and 22 Rival Overnumbers celebrating some of Runeterra’s greatest rivalries.
