Fiscal Year Business Overview
Atlus’ 13th fiscal year ranged from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026.
Company Market Analysis
In the consumer game market, growth has currently plateaued due to ongoing geopolitical risks and incrementing inflation in various regions. Additionally, game development costs continue to rise because of rising labor costs and longer development cycles, making it urgent to respond to these changes in the business.
On the other hand, diversification in game content delivery and market expansion driven by growth in emerging economies have created an environment where content and services can be delivered over a longer term, across platforms worldwide. Because of this, expectations for continued growth in the game market remain high.
In this business environment, our company was focused on the release of major packaged game titles and licensing, and our performance has remained strong for it.
Packaged Game Business
In the consumer game business, we released the following titles:
Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless ArmyPersona 3 Reload (Nintendo Switch 2 Version)
In June 2025, we released Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army for PC. PS4. PS5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X/S. By launching simultaneously across multiple platforms, we sought to maximize the points of contact with users both in Japan and overseas.
Additionally, Metaphor ReFantazio, released in October 2024, received the Japan Game Awards in September 2025, contributing to the brand’s strength.
For the Persona series, worldwide sales for Persona 3 Reload have surpassed 2 million units [to note, Atlus announced that P3R sold more than 3 million units in June 2026]. Furthermore, in October 2025, the Nintendo Switch 2 version was released, expanding its number of supported platforms.
In June 2025, Persona 5: The Phantom X, the first mobile/PC game in the Persona series, began its service in Japan and globally for iOS, Android and PC.
As a result of these continuous initiatives, the Persona series has reached more than 30 million units sold worldwide, further strengthening its presence as a global IP.
As the Persona series reaches its 30th anniversary this year, we’ve started a year-long commemorative roll-out project beginning in January. Through the release of anniversary visuals, new merchandise, various events, and other regular information distribution events, we are promoting the continued engagement of existing fans and the acquisition of new users.
Licensing Business
As part of the Persona 30th initiatives, we’ve carried out collaborations with businesses in different industries, including transportation services and various commercial facilities, diversifying the number of places new customers can each the IP. Through developments extending beyond video games, we are promoting increased recognition and the sustained growth of the IP’s value.
In music licensing, we continue to hold events like the Persona 5 Special Big Band Concert and the Metaphor: ReFantazio Orchestra Concert. Additionally, we’re strengthening our overseas expansion with the Persona Live Tour -more ahead- in China (Shanghai and Beijing) in April 2025, and the Persona Live 2026: Awakenings in the United States (Los Angeles) in January 2026. Through these initiatives, we are working to expand our userbase in Asia, Europe and the Americas.
Profits & Losses
As a result of these business activities, net profit for the fiscal year ending March 2026 amounted to approximately 1.49 billion yen (an increase of 74.2% year-over-year), making a significant contribution to the Sega Sammy Group’s consolidated earnings.
Net sales were of 11.5 billion yen (up 6.6% from the previous fiscal year)
