LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Casinos on the Las Vegas Strip enjoyed a great month of May.
The win revenue for non-restricted gaming licensees on the Strip was $807.89 million for the month, according to new figures from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
That’s an increase of about 13.2% compared to May last year, when the gaming win was $713.77 million.
Statewide, casinos reported a gaming win of $1.39 billion, up 7.4% from $1.29 billion in May last year.
Nevada collected $89.5 million in percentage fees based on the taxable revenues generated from this past month.
