NEW YORK – After months of hard work behind the scenes, the Manolis family’s longtime dream is becoming a reality as they officially plan to launch their new gaming business.
Titled ‘EK Gaming Trailer’, the business is named after Margaret (Rita) and Nikolaos Manolis’ children, Elias and Kosta, and is inspired by their strong love for gaming.

Described as a trailer people can rent out for various events, where children can engage in various games in a mobile setting, Rita Manolis explained that the trailer includes a “full gaming system, with things like Nintendo’s, Xbox, PlayStation, Karaoke TV’s and more.”

She told The National Herald, “we would like to rent it out for events, festivals, birthday parties, graduations, sporting events, and just any type of event we can accommodate – that is the vision,” Manolis told TNH.

Discussing her and her husband’s inspirations to develop a gaming trailer, she said the idea followed a concept they had discovered after one of their sons attended a party.

“Kosta had gone to a birthday party, and they had this gaming truck which was rented for a couple of hours, and the kids were having a blast,” she explained.

“And we thought, that’s a good idea you know, and we kind of always wanted to do it, but our dreams got pushed on to the back burner because of everything going on with Elias…but now that he is slowly getting better, we’ve been working on it for the last couple of months, and we’re excited to have a grand opening.”

Manolis also noted how as her sons are big gamers, with Kosta loving the videogame, Fortnite, and Elias loving Minecraft and Roblox, she hopes other children will also enjoy the concept.

The grand opening of EK Gaming Trailer will take place on Saturday, June 27 from 1 to 4 PM at 619 Wool Avenue, Franklin Square, NY.

There will be snacks, desserts and juice boxes provided for kids and refreshments for adults, serving as an opportunity for people to mingle and enquire about the gaming trailer and learn more about it.
When asked how Margaret Manolis felt to finally launch the trailer this weekend with her husband, she said “It feels really good, because you know, when you want to do something so bad, and you can’t, because you have other obligations, and then it finally happens, that’s just another miracle for us.”

“The kids love gaming so much, and I know there’s so many other kids that love gaming too, and if we can give back to the community then why not,” she added.
