Revealed during AG French Direct, Maseylia: Echoes of the Past is a 3D metroidvania inspired by Metroid Prime, Hollow Knight, and the worlds of Moebius, blending atmospheric sci-fi exploration, movement-based traversal abilities, sequence breaking, and interconnected world design.
The game focuses on exploration-driven gameplay through mysterious alien ruins, caverns, forgotten civilizations, and surreal landscapes. Players progressively unlock new movement abilities allowing them to access previously unreachable areas, discover hidden passages, and explore the world freely at their own pace.
