This is shaping up to be the game’s largest content update to date
Street Fighter 6 is on the cusp of receiving its next big update with Ingrid’s arrival, and the patch is shaping up to be one of the largest the game has ever seen in terms of content.
Capcom just revealed the previously-announced DriveTech Wear costumes are also coming to Street Fighter 6 this week on top of everything else.
Like they said back in March, all 30 characters currently in the game will be getting these new outfits all at once including Ingrid.
And the best part is they’re all free.
It appears they’ll each come with two different color options between blue, yellow and black or red, black and white.
These DriveTech designs are of course all themed arounds sports, so all characters wear basically slightly different variants of the same jerseys, shorts, leggings and sneakers including the guests Terry and Mai.
We’ll probably be seeing these costumes quite a bit at official eSports events and big tournaments though hopefully they don’t become a requirement to compete.
Up to this point, around half of Street Fighter 6’s launch roster had received their Outfit 4 DLC since the launch of Season 3, however, that still left the other half without anything new to wear since December 2023 when the initial batch of Outfit 3s launched.
Now, every world warrior will have at least four different outfits to choose from including the Season 3 cast.
These DriveTech Wear costumes are releasing just over a day from now alongside Ingrid, but there’s plenty more in the update too.
Sagat, C. Viper, Alex and Ingrid are also receiving their Outfit 3 DLC plus the game is adding two new avatar battle modes that will bring even more content to Street Fighter 6.
