Coming up Sunday, a live taping of beat games taking place at Dowdy Ficklin Stadium in Greenville.
The event production associated with internet personality Mr. Beast, whose YouTube channel currently sits at 489 million subscribers.
Mobile tickets are no longer available but are finally on their way via ECU athletics.
With thousands expected in attendance there is also an expectation of more money coming into downtown Greenville.
Troy Dreyfus from the downtown Greenville partnership says they are expecting a big weekend throughout the city and such a large event puts the city on the map.
We checked a couple of hotel websites availability for this weekend and many rooms were currently sold out or had significantly higher prices than an average week.
This also means more business for restaurants in the area who may be seeing less activity now that the ECU school year is over.
We talked with a manager from SUP dogs about what this means for their business.
Right now, students they move out for the summer so it’s a slow time for us. So with the Beast Games coming around it brings in a little bit of people come hang out with us during the day.
The parking lot opens at noon and then at 8pm is when the gates will open. The taping is set to take place rain or shine.
There s a no phone policy in place for the Games. Phones, Smart watches and any recording devices will all be put in secure bags, however there will be phone use areas throughout the stadium.

Admission to the event is free, but tickets are required. Seating will be general admission.
Event organizers said gates open at 8:00 p.m., but fans can begin lining up at noon. Overnight camping is not allowed on ECU property.
The event will include free merchandise giveaways, prizes throughout the night and free concessions. Organizers said the first 6,000 fans will receive free T-shirts, while the first 16,000 attendees will receive free MrBeast merchandise.
Officials said the event will be phone-free. Phones, smart watches and recording devices will be locked in Yondr pouches upon entry, although designated phone-use areas will be available.
ECU’s clear bag policy will be enforced during the event, and organizers encouraged attendees to travel light.
Free parking will be available in several ECU lots, including Shreve Silver, Wilkinson Gold, Shreve Blue and Lower Minges. Heavy traffic is expected after the event.
Organizers also said the event may be filmed for future MrBeast content and promotional use.
Guest services staff will be stationed throughout the stadium to assist attendees, including with accessibility needs and lost-and-found services.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early, charge their phones before arrival and expect large crowds.
