I ordered the Steam Controller within the first minutes on launch day and my parcel got routed to the UK by GLS by mistake (it was supposed to ship from Netherlands to Germany), even though everything was labeled correctly. Steam support checked it with GLS and is having it re-routed.
As a goodwill gesture, they also offered me a free standard game from the store. I went with 007 First Light.
I had seen another post about the same thing a few days ago, so at first I thought "there’s no way they do this" but apparently they actually do 🙂
This wasn't even Valve's fault. That was entirely up to GLS.
All I’m saying is: if anyone talks bad about Valve, Steam or our Lord near me now, we might have a problem. May GabeN bless us with Steam sales.
