So this thing right here hurts you with the spark at the end, but you can cut the sections to shorten the cable and change where the spark is at. On my first run, I would go through all the trouble to dash jump and cut as high as possible. After, you have to be careful to dash jump at spacing where your peak doesn't cross with the spark, or you can go the really scared route of sliding on the wall and jumping to the other side.
On this run, I realized I can just jump over. Even with the ones that swing, and I actually think those are easier. When they hit the bottom of their arc, it basically becomes you vs. the pit. You just have to make sure it's swinging towards your start point to make sure it doesn't swing back and interfere with you.
As much as I love vidya games, I'm just really glad I can still have fun learning more efficient ways of playing every game, and especially how the game guides you in learning.
