Another small update from the CS2 Zombie Mod project.

Today I focused mostly on atmosphere and honestly it completely changed how the mod feels. I added spatial infection sirens that exist physically in the map instead of just playing directly into your headphones, plus tactical radio/comms announcements for the infection countdown.

The combination of distant sirens and the radio voice makes rounds feel way more intense now. It finally starts feeling like an actual outbreak instead of just “players with knives” 😄

Also showing the current !block barricade prototype in the video. Still polishing some responsiveness/timing issues there, but the overall direction is starting to come together really nicely.

The goal with this project is basically to make a heavily modded and atmospheric Zombie Mod experience for CS2 with progression systems, abilities, custom sounds, classes, barricades and more gameplay depth over time.
