We’re just over a week away from Ingrid’s launch in Street Fighter 6, and she’s bringing a friend that can play along too.

Capcom just released a new video showcasing what Ingrid’s little Monoid can do in battle, and it can do more than you probably expect.

Like we saw teased in her gameplay trailer, Ingrid can swap places with her pal to take over for her in battle.

It appears this can be done by completing Ingrid’s back taunt, so it’ll be difficult to actually pull off during a real match.

From what we heard from Ingrid’s demo at Evo Japan 2026, the Monoid stays in play for a set amount of time or until it takes damage.

The Monoid looks to have four different moves with a laser, drill attack, headbutt and dash strike.

The living doll thing is also shown to be able to avoid Ryu’s Shinku Hadoken and perform a string that we’re not sure if it’s a throw or a Super.

Since there’s no UI shown here either, we can’t tell just how much damage these Monoid attacks actually do.

We’ve seen taunts unlock special versions of characters in Street Fighter 6 before like Shin Akuma, but this one is a bit different than the rest.

It seems like Capcom is having a lot of fun with bringing Ingrid into the Street Fighter world proper including reviving her Sun Octopus Super concept from the canceled Capcom Fighting All-Stars.

Ingrid will be bringing more goodies with her too on May 28 since Capcom revealed this week that new Avatar Arcade and Random Avatar Match modes are coming in her update.

On top of that, the Season 3 Outfit 3 DLC is launching at the same time as well though we have yet to see what those look like.
