Snail Inc (NASDAQ:SNAL) announced that it attended Gamescom LATAM as the company looks to expand partnerships and publishing opportunities in Latin America, a region it described as an increasingly important market for the global gaming industry.

The Culver City, California-based gaming company said the event’s attendance rose 17.5% in 2026, underscoring growing interest in the Latin American games sector.

Brazil remains the region’s largest gaming market and the fifth largest globally by online population, with an estimated 103 million players, according to figures cited by the company.

Snail Games said it is increasing engagement across Latin America as part of a broader international publishing strategy. The company, which operates from the United States and has development and publishing operations in Europe and Asia, said it is exploring indie publishing opportunities, strategic partnerships, and co-development arrangements in the region.

The company pointed to continued player engagement with its ARK franchise as evidence of demand in Latin America. Snail Games said ARK: Survival Ascended sold about 1.4 million units in the first quarter of 2026, while ARK: Survival Evolved sold more than 570,000 units during the same period.

The company also said ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition reached 11.9 million downloads as of March 31, 2026. Brazil ranked second among active Google Play territories and gross revenue markets for the game, while leading in total downloads on the platform, according to the company.

Snail Games said its regional expansion efforts build on a partnership formed last year with Latin American indie development team Four Leaf Clover.

The company said it plans to continue developing relationships with regional studios and identifying emerging independent titles as it expands its global publishing pipeline.
