Today Scuf Gaming officially released The new high-performance Scuf Omega controller is licensed for use with PlayStation 5 consoles and is also compatible with PC, Mac, and mobile devices. The device is focused on competitive gaming and offers a total of 28 controls. The recommended retail price for the new product is $219.99, and it is available in Europe for €239.99.
The controller’s key feature is its 11 additional customizable input elements, including four rear paddles, two SAX shoulder buttons, and five dedicated G-keys. The action buttons, D-pad, and triggers utilize Omron mechanical switches, providing instant response similar to a computer mouse. The gamepad also features durable Endurance TMR thumbsticks, which utilize contactless magnetic positioning technology to prevent drift and maintain precision.
For in-depth device customization, the proprietary Scuf mobile app, available for iOS and Android, is used. It allows players to remap keys in real time, adjust trigger and stick response curves, and set dead zones to 0%. When connected to a PC, the controller supports a 1000Hz polling rate in both wired and wireless modes, minimizing input lag to a minimum.
