I started looking into why so many modern systems feel increasingly fragmented, overstimulating, and difficult to disconnect from — and unexpectedly ended up tracing a lot of it back to the structure of the modern internet itself.
The deeper I went, the more it started to resemble something oddly cyberpunk:
attention as currency,
algorithms shaping perception,
constant engagement loops,
identity becoming increasingly digitalized,
and massive centralized platforms quietly influencing how people think, work, consume, and interact.
