I'm having some issues with my delidded 9950x3D with an arctic liquid freezer aio and arctic mx6 (also tried TG kryonaut)
During cinebench or HWinfo stress test, the CCD2 temperature will rise to 95C and thermal throttle. CCD1 is around 25C lower.
I cleaned a little more solder from the die as it didn't appear flat and the situation improved slightly, but I've now had 3 different AIO and this CPU in and out so many times I'm looking for some advice please.
This is what the die and cold plate looks like. It looks as if I am not achieving adequate contact with CCD2, but I can't work out why – I've tried various spacer combinations, this version is 6.6mm.
Any thoughts what I should do?
