The NeoGeo Premium Selection project began last year to bring back classic SNK titles for the modern age, and there’s another game joining the series.
At Evo Japan 2026, SNK and Code Mystics announced the return of World Heroes Perfect, and you can pick it up starting today.
World Heroes Perfect first released all the way back in 1995, but it hasn’t received a new home port in 30 years.
The fourth entry in the World Heroes series now has more features than ever before with 19 characters to choose from including the hidden fighters of Son Goku, NEO-DIO and Zeus — the latter of which was only playable in select versions of the game previously.
Like past NeoGeo Premium Selection titles, World Heroes sports rollback netcode with nine-player lobbies as well as a tournament mode.
Practice Mode also has a hitbox display and speed settings to help master the game’s various heroes from across history.
And of course there’s a Gallery Mode too where you can view all of the artwork from the series.
World Heroes is joining the new line of NeoGeo releases following Real Bout: Fatal Fury 2 and Kizuna Encounter: Super Tag Battle.
To celebrate the launch, SNK is discounting World Heroes by 25% from $20 down to $15 from May 1–8.
World Heroes Perfect is now available on Steam, and you can check out the reveal trailer and screenshots below.
