Hi Guys,
i'm completely happy with my CPU, even view Years later.
It is manually overclocked to the Values that Asus AI OC would provide autmatically.
Everything runs fine.
But the Ring Cache on Alder Lake is fluctuating by Design.
4700Mhz on little load or 3600Mhz if the E-Cores are active too.
My Question:
You can set the Ring manually ( my highest Value Min/Max: 4300Mhz , everything above is crashing in Boot)
So, if even Asus AI OC doesnt overclock the Ring also automatically and I read that Asus is not doing IT, because the Ring could get unstable on higher Clocks…
…gives me the Question, should I leave the Ring in Default and fluctuating?
Or should I set it manually and not fluctuate?
I watched this Video https://youtu.be/hJ7koAzOslE?is=vO-X1TQtMe2f1DEC
and now i'm questioning myself what I should set and leave for good?
I appreciate every advice, the only benefit I see: 4300Mhz constant instead of 4700Mhz, but also better than 3600Mhz.
And Yes, I want to leave my E-Cores on.
And by the way…I can't see any difference in Gaming. even not on the 1% Lows.
What would you say?
