We don’t know what these new Outfit 3 selections will look like yet though

Next to other AAA fighting games like Tekken 8 and Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter 6’s costume release schedule has been significantly slower, but there is more on the way.

One thing that was easy to miss among the information revealed alongside Ingrid’s gameplay trailer is more costumes are apparently coming with her.

At the very end of their Steam blog detailing Ingrid’s movelist and mechanics, Capcom confirmed that all Season 3 characters will receive their Outfit 3 DLC when she releases.

This means Sagat, C. Viper, Alex and Ingrid are about to get some new attire, which has been the standard for past seasons too.

They haven’t revealed what these costumes are going to be just yet, however, so we should be learning more about them in the coming weeks.

Prior to this, Capcom had been slowly rolling out Outfit 4 DLC for the existing roster, but more than half of the cast is still missing them.

Juri was the first to receive her Outfit 4 followed by a swimsuit pack for A.K.I., Cammy, Chun-Li, Luke, Jamie, Kimberly and Manon.

Mech Zangief was then added to the game in September, and players had to wait until Alex released in March to get a few more for Elena and Dee Jay in beach attire.

That still leaves 15 fighters who don’t have an Outfit 4 now between Akuma, Blanka, Dhalsim, Ed, E. Honda, Guile, JP, Ken, Lily, Mai, Marisa, M. Bison, Rashid, Ryu and Terry.

Those base roster characters haven’t received a new costume since December 2023 when their Outfit 3 DLC dropped, so it’s been over two years already.

It’ll be interesting to see just how long it takes the Outfit 4 run to be complete.

As for the new character, Capcom shared Ingrid’s battle theme along the magical girl’s character select screen and Versus face animations where she appears to have more than the rest of the cast.

Before her arrival, Street Fighter 6 is releasing a different update on May 7 to add one of the Five Japanese Gods of fighting games as a new commentator.

Ingrid and the new costumes are scheduled to launch on May 28 though it has yet to be confirmed if more balance changes are coming with her or if the “Season 4” update will be coming later than past years.

Capcom should be showing off the new styles for Ingrid, Alex, Sagat and C. Viper very soon — perhaps even at Evo Japan 2026 this weekend.
