I like to call myself a sniper main lol.

I’ve been sniping since Call of Duty: World at War, and that game was absolute peak. I stayed with it all the way up through the most recent WZ integration, Black Ops Royale. That was when I just could not get in sync with either sniper. Not the Hawker, not the VS.

But I missed sniping, and my usual squad needed someone to fill that role, so I stuck with it.

And yeah… it sucked at first.

I missed countless shots. Lost games because I whiffed critical picks. Some days I could not even land basic shots. I started recording my gameplay and going back through it just to figure out where my bullets were actually going. A lot of the time, I was shooting short.

That’s when I started really locking in on range and crosshair placement.

Bullet drop in Black Ops Royale is wild, and bullet velocity can be brutal too. Honestly though, I don’t even mind it. When you finally connect on a nasty shot, it feels way more satisfying because you know you actually earned it.

After a ton of trial and error, I’m finally starting to get the feel for it again.

Right now, I’m working on a range guide to help people get the basics down. Figured if I had to learn the hard way, maybe I can save somebody else a few painful matches.
