The Macon County Tigerettes lost the two contests they played this past week. The student athletes were off on spring break.

On Monday Mar 30 the Tigerettes travelled to Westmoreland. After falling behind 0-1 and tying the game at 1-1 in the top of the 4th inning, Macon surrendered three in the 4th, three in the 5th, and one in the sixth to lose the contest by a final of 2-8 to the Lady Eagles.

Kayla Moore was the pitcher of record as she threw three and one-third innings allowing eight hits and four earned runs. Maci Patterson threw two and two-thirds innings of relief and gave up four hits and one earned run. Jazzlyn Centers, Sierra Troutt, and Moore collected the only hits with Centers hitting a tying home run in the 4th inning.

The following day, on Mar 31, the Macon travelled to nearby Clay County. The Lady Bulldogs never trailed in the contest and won the game 4-2.

Centers collected the only two hits in the game and Patterson pitched all six innings and allowed eight hits and only two earned runs.

This week Macon will be back in action with games on Apr 7 at Watertown, hosting White House on Apr 8, and on Apr 9 hosting Central Magnet. Watertown in scheduled for a 6 pm start with the two home games beginning at 5 pm.
