Akali is to be added to 2XKO as its 13th champion on April 7, 2026. Until then, we’re playing on the patch that released in early March.
In preparation for the Akali update, FLY|SonicFox released a final tier list for the latest version of the game. Characters have been arranged in the S tier, A tier and B tier groups.
According to SonicFox, S tier is the only category that’s ordered. With that in mind, it’s funny to note how Ekko is still top 1 in 2XKO despite being nerfed in virtually every 2XKO patch.
After Ekko, characters like Ahri, Teemo, Illaoi and Yasuo are said to be meta-defining. Many players have noted Illaoi’s sudden rise in the tier lists ever since that last update.
SonicFox also indicates that the overall weakest characters in the game are Caitlyn, Blitzcrank and Darius. Despite this, SonicFox is adamant that every fighter in 2XKO is viable as the game has yet to be “solved.”
Although SonicFox technically placed Blitzcrank as the last combatant on the tier list, SonicFox has indicated that Blitzcrank may have some hidden potential. We’ll just have to see how underrated he is in the long run.
