I have been having lag issues after buying a new TV.
Playing on PS5
TV is LG OLED48B5PUA (48”, OLED, 120Hz, HDMI 2.1)
Old TV was an HDTV LED 1080p 60hz. No lag noticeable but maybe it just didn't show it.
I've ruled out any console/tv settings. VRR, ALLM, Game optimizer, Power Save off, TruMotion off, etc; settings are as they should be for gaming. Maybe I'm missing something though?
Network is Cable internet. Speed is 100 download 20 upload and I get 90 down/18 up consistently (tested in PS5 settings). Buffer bloat test on Waveform website gave an A grade with slight increase in Latency under load. Speed tests seem to be good on other speed test websites as well.
Router is a Google Mesh set up. PS5 is hardwired to a google node but not the main node. Nodes connect via wifi. Main node is hardwired to the modem. the nodes are maybe 25-30 ft apart with walls and floors between them.
When PS5 is connected via wifi or hardwired to the node, the lag is present. Getting very bad lag on Helldivers 2 as well. I moved the PS5 to another tv(QLED, 120hz, 4K) in the house with a hard wire to the modem and the lag persists in Warzone but is gone in Helldivers 2.
Latency is usually between 40-60. Packet loss is between 10-20%
I'm starting to run out of ideas of what to check. Any suggestions where to continue the troubleshooting? Or maybe you have a magic setting I am missing somewhere?
