The newer games after Cold War have looked or played nowhere near as well in my opinion. There's just something about the new games from the UI, to the graphics looking blurry, to the worse optimization, to the omnimovement that's just made everything worse in just about every way possible. And this is before the controversial things like the bundles, carry-forward, and AI
All of these things make Cold War simply stand out from everything else released this decade so far. The simplicity in comparison is what makes it so enjoyable. It doesn't look like a cheap shitty mobile game throwing all these random pointless gimmicks at you, it just looks like a normal game set during the 80s
Why don't they work on a Korean War game? They could use Cold War as a template and learn from it's flaws (the bugs when the game launched) and refine it's strengths (the UI, graphics, optimization and movement) to create a similar game that's set during a war that gets little to no attention from game studios
They could invent a new Campaign with new characters, a new Multiplayer with new modes, and a new Zombies with an entirely new storyline that has nothing to do with people made out of crystals. Because the CIA-KGB side of the Zombies storyline was cool until people were turning into crystals in Mauer Der Toten
And as long as there's no stupid bundles, no carry-forward, no AI-generated content/acting, and absolutely nothing to do with Warzone, it'd be the best-selling and reviewed game they've developed in over half a decade because any decent fan would finally enjoy a new slate instead of the confusion and out of place shit we've got now
Also bring back Fireteam because that was the best mode ever made
