After days of lying to myself that an all-core -30/-25 Curve Optimizer setting was stable, I finally faced reality after a few random crashes during gaming and downloads. I decided to put in the work for a proper per-core PBO tune.
It was a tedious process, but actually pretty fun. I ended up with a Cinebench R23 score of ~23,700. I’m not necessarily chasing record-breaking scores, but I’m happy with the performance floor.
I’m also looking for a sanity check on my memory stability compared to my previous baseline.
Previous Baseline:
- AIDA64 Latency: ~64 ns
- Settings: Nitro 1/2/1, VDDG at 0.95V, tRFC 160 ns.
- y-cruncher: Getting a constant 1.01 × 10^10.
Do these current numbers look "acceptable" compared to my previous 64 ns latency? Also, I read that checking for a variance of 3% or 7%, something like that, between loop times is one of the best ways to spot "silent" instability. Is that right?
Would love to hear if I should stick with these or keep tweaking. Thanks!
