I owned a recording studio for 7 years. Closed in June of 2025. Still think about it sometimes.
Production PC was a Z790 rig (14900k, 32GB DDR5-6000, RTX2070, 3 NVMe SSDs, 3 SATA SSDs). Office PC was a retired X99 rig, NAS was a core 2 quad rig (oh yeah). All kinda of weird network and “xyz-over-Ethernet” stuff happening.
Was a lot of fun. Some fun records were made in this space.
