A new week brings a new set of Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races, with three fresh events now live and running through next Monday.
The headline act this week is probably going to be Race B. Gr.3 cars at Spa-Francorchamps is about as classic a combination as the game offers. Five laps of the full Belgian circuit on Racing Mediums with no mandatory pit stop means this is a pure sprint. The Audi R8 looks set to be the car to beat here, though the usual Spa-friendly suspects will be in the mix. Brake balance adjustment is available, which is worth playing with given how much heavy braking Spa demands.
Don’t sleep on Race C, though. Trial Mountain Reverse with Gr.4 cars sounds routine enough, but 8x tire wear and 3x fuel consumption over 11 laps with a mandatory pit stop turns this into the week’s strategic puzzle.
You’re required to run Racing Hards at some point, so the question is whether you start on the grippier Mediums and switch to Hards for a longer second stint, or do it the other way around. Trial Mountain Reverse is a technical circuit where tire condition matters, and the usual Gr.4 balance lottery applies.
Race A is the week’s palate cleanser: Suzuki Swift Sports at Autopolis for four laps on Comfort Softs. It’s a short, low-stakes sprint with grid start, no pit stop, and specified settings, but Autopolis has enough elevation change and off-camber corners to keep things interesting in an underpowered hatchback. It should be a fun combo with close racing.
