My 4th gen intel i7-4770k setup kicked the bucket last week (choosing to die after 10 years right in the middle of this ram mess lmao). As such I've been looking at upgrading.
Bought a Asus b850 itx mobo, 7800x3d, Corsair sf1000 PSU, gonna get formd T1 and then the rest is sort of up in the air rn.
Need to sort out ram now. I saw this on sale on eBay for £150. I heard SK hynix is the best for overclocking but idk much about all this new generation stuff 😆 my question is – can this be overclocked to 6000 to get cl30 performance comfortably? Cl30 6000 Corsair ones cost £250 so if I can get around it by doing this I'm definitely going to.
I'll figure out the details after I just need to know if this can then I'll start tweaking after I get it ☺️
