Reveals for Invincible Vs and Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game confirmed

Last year debuted the beginning of the Evo Awards series with the Evo Award 2025 ceremony. To celebrate this, the organizers of the event even hosted a miniature Marvel vs. Capcom 2 exhibition referred to as the “Tournament of Champions” that pitted Justin Wong, Michael “IFC Yipes” Mendoza, Sanford Kelly, and Duc Do against one another.
The Evo Awards 2026 event is scheduled to take place today at 3:30 p.m. PDT and 6:30 p.m. EDT. RobTV and Tasty Steve will be hosting the pre-show segment of the event.
It’s been confirmed that a character for each of Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game and Invincible Vs will be revealed during the event.
For Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, the fighters that have already been revealed are Aang, Korra, Zuko, Katara, Toph, Sokka and Azula. There will be a total of 12 characters at launch, so this upcoming announcement will bring the current roster count to eight.
As for Invincible Vs, Allen the Alien, Anissa, Atom Eve, Battle Beast, Bulletproof, Cecil Stedman, Dupli-Kate, Ella Mental, Invincible, Lucan, Monster Girl, Omni-Man, Powerplex, Rex Splode, Robot, Titan and are already known. The upcoming Invincible Vs reveal will be the 18th and final character that will be present in the base roster.
Additionally, there will be an Invincible Vs exhibition event that will see Justin Wong, IFC Yipes, and Grr and Cloud805 all aiming for first place. This will be an especially interesting event considering that Invincible Vs isn’t scheduled to be released until April 30, with the next Invincible Vs Open Beta that will take place over the course of the weekend of April 9, 2026.
Of course, the real meat of the ceremony will be focused on awarding achievements that occurred since the Evo Awards 2025 presentation. Starting on February 20, 2026, fighting game enthusiasts were permitted the ability to vote for a variety of award categories.
This year’s categories are Best Artist, Best Character, Best Combo, Best Commentary Moment, Best Content Creator, Best Cosplay, Best Custom Controller, Best Dressed, Best Game Release, Best Local, Best Meme, Best Online Series, Best Pop Off, Best Product, Comeback of the Year, Commentator of the Year, Match of the Year, Moment of the Year, Player of the Year, and They’ve Got Next.
