I just copped the game on Steam for $6, so I just had to get it. But what's weird is the fact that the game stays below 20fps for absolutely 0 reason. I was able to play Warzone back when it was in the MW2019 engine on an older GPU, so I don't understand what's wrong. Other than the game being installed on HDD (I was able to play this Warzone MW2019 on 60 fps on an older GPU, even when it was on HDD), I'm really considering refunding the game and buying something else, but that would be heartbreaking considering I've been waiting to play this game for so long. I want to fix this issue. What could be the reason?
My specs are:
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050
AMD Ryzen 5 3500 6-Core
32GB of RAM
Other (potentially) relevant info:
– I updated my GPU drivers to Version 595.97
– I tried changing everything in the settings, Fullscreen, Borderless, Texture Streaming, and everything.
– I played the game on its own before, no OBS, no Browsers, nothing.
– It's not maxing out GPU or CPU usage (see video)
– I tried to verify file integrity, still nothing
Please help, I can't really call for support since this game is pretty much dead (from a developer perspective, the player boom is different) and is not being looked into by Activision. Thanks!
