A new update for the A340-600 Pro has rolled out, bringing it to version 1.0.1. The initial response from the release has been fairly positive, with many commenting on the system’s depth and functionality. Aerosoft, along with ToLiss, has acknowledged some of the changes that need to be made to further improve the aircraft as a whole. However, this new update is the first of many.
Version 1.0.1 fixes mostly bugs from the release build. This update brings a range of fixes and improvements, including enhanced audio with added rain effects and refined flap, cabin, and ground roll sounds. Flight dynamics have been improved with smoother wingflex and better drag and fuel flow modelling at cruise.
The update also addresses several system issues, including EFB chart loading, pilot data saving, and pushback behaviour, alongside refinements to waypoint skipping and go-around logic. Performance has been improved with faster situation loading, while cockpit visuals see updated PBR effects. Additional updates include new rudder axis support and adjustments to door prioritisation for more consistent ground handling.
The introductory pricing is now over, but you can buy the Aerosoft A340-600 Pro from Aerosoft for €67.22 (excluding tax). It is also now available via Contrail. The update can be obtained through the Aerosoft One installer or your chosen store’s installation service.
You can learn more about the upcoming updates planned by watching the Aerosoft keynote presentation from FSWeekend 2026.
