February was dominated by Resident Evil Requiem, but outside of that it was a tough month with a fall in players and revenue across many major PC, console and mobile games. Let’s dive in.

There were some clear bright spots during February. The subscription business saw a surge across the US, PUBG Mobile grew substantially, Helldivers 2 and Overwatch staged a comeback, and Resident Evil Requiem broke franchise records.

But as you’ll see, overall February was quite challenging across the business with declines for many of the usual players.

After four consecutive months of growth, Nexon’s Arc Raiders finally sees a drop in players, and it’s a big one, with numbers down 2.4 million over January. In fact, most of the typical big games dropped last month, while a certain Capcom horror game dominated the sales charts.
