Just another melted cable report:

A few days ago, I noticed my PC started rebooting while gaming. After I started playing Resident Evil Requiem, it began happening much more frequently.

When I took the PC apart to investigate, I had some trouble disconnecting the cable from the GPU, and a lot of trouble disconnecting it from the PSU.

After being very careful but persistent, I finally managed to unplug it from the power supply, only to find that one of the pins had snapped off and stayed stuck inside the PSU (Corsair SF750 Platinum, old model), while others had melted.

The cable is a 12VHPWR from ModDiy, purchased back in 2023.

I grabbed another spare cable I had (also from ModDiy) and connected it to the PSU using different ports. So far, everything is working 100% again.
