Caitlyn is the latest champion to join the 2XKO roster. Of course, it’s important to highlight that the developers plan on releasing five champions over the course of 2026.
Akali and Senna were recently announced to also be coming to 2XKO as the next champions. The developers even highlighted a sneak peek at how they’ll perform during gameplay.
Apparently, some 2XKO news is slated to be revealed at Pax East 2026 on March 27, 2026. Information pertaining to Team Fight Tactics: Space Gods, Riftbound: League of Legends Trading Card Game, 2XKO and Valorant will begin to be unveiled at around 12:00 p.m. EDT on that day.
One fan speculated that this could be an opportunity for the developers to drop Akali’s gameplay trailer. However, this idea was quickly shot down by Ben Forbes, Editor-in-Chief on 2XKO.
As such, this is now heavily pointing towards the possibility of Senna getting a gameplay trailer. This would also suggest that Senna could get released as the next champion before Akali.
There’s also a possibility that the 2XKO developers may reveal the two remaining challengers that are set to be released sometime this year. We’ll just have to keep an eye out to find out what the developers have in store for fans.
