I want to love the game but something about it just felt off. Control complexity is fine, but the responsiveness is terrible.
I made a video highlighting the issue. The input latency is terrible compared to other titles. It's also inconsistent meaning you can't just 'learn' the timing.
If you're not interested in a 7 minute explainer the first 30 seconds show the problem.
No it isn't my PC. No it isn't my keyboard. No it isn't my settings. FRAME GEN IS OFF. Yes the problem is really there if you actually look.
I am aware Pearl Abyss had made a comment that they're looking at controls but I doubt this issue is on their radar and will be looked at with the unspecified upcoming patch.
Edit: not sure why this is getting downvoted so hard? I know my 'production quality' is rough as guts but the issue is plain to see and seems on topic for the sub right now. I want to love the game as much as anyone else.
