Capcom Cup 12 has come to its riveting conclusion. The first place winner was able to secure himself that $1,000,000 prize.
As such, Capcom Fighters has already begun revealing details about Capcom Cup 13. Once again, it would seem that the first place finisher of the event will go home with $1,000,000.
It’s also worth highlighting that the prize for Street Fighter League 2026 is being upped from $500,000 to $700,000. This seems to be referring to the total prize pool for Street Fighter League 2026 rather than just the prize for its winning team.
Last year, it was revealed that Capcom Cup 12 would be adopting a pay-per-view model for its final rounds. As expected, this announcement didn’t exactly go over too well with the fans, especially for those within the North American region.
Fortunately, Capcom didn’t completely ignore the backlash and provided a method for fans to watch the Capcom Cup 12 Finale for free, provided that they owned a copy of Street Fighter 6. Though fans that watched through Street Fighter 6’s redesigned Battle Hub didn’t get to listen to commentary, it’s suspected that there were a lot of viewers that took advantage of this option.
For the time being, it’s unknown if Capcom Cup 13 will also feature a pay-per-view model like the one before it. We’ll have to wait for further information in order to find out.
