( If you don't want to read about my benchmark, i have also asked a question about upgrading my CPU&Mobo at the bottom of the post. If you have any advice on that i would really appreciate it!)
Hi, as i was overclocking and tinkering over the past week, whenever i was bored out of my mind. i started getting close to the record, so took it a little more serious just now.
I know nothing about what i'm doing honestly i just learn as i go, before this i used to play playstation and had a weaker gaming laptop. And even though this is kind of new to me, i actually got to 1st place on the leaderboards. Beating a record set back in december 2025.
I think with fans set to 100% from start and opening up my case etc, i could probably go even higher. My overlock/undervolt settings in adrenalin are:
VRAM Tuning: Memory timing: fast / Max frequency: 2800MHz
GPU Tuning: Max freq. Offset: +200MHz / Voltage Offset: -100 mV
Power limit: +10%.
And in the BIOS i changed these settings for my CPU: PBO with CO: Manual settings / PPT +200W / TDC +175w / EDC +175w / CO: -25 offset.

Do you guys think i can run these bios settings safely for a while, or better to turn then down a little bit? Looking to upgrade motherboard and cpu next month, but rather not fry anything in the meantime lol.
Complete setup currently: MSi B550 Gaming Gen 3, Ryzen 7 5700x, GIGABYTE RX 9070 XT OC, Corsair 32GB ddr4 3200MHz. All powered by a MSi Mag A850G. (If anyone is interested; Lancool 217 Infinity case, HydroShift II LCD-C 360TL wireless AIO and 3 extra SL120 LCD Wireless Reverse Blade fans for bottom of the case. All Lian Li, so cooling is good enough)
Right now i'm looking into buying a 9800X3D or 9850X3D, with a x870 Tomahawk motherboard. (And ofcourse DDR5 RAM to go with it.) That was suggested as an upgrade to me by an AI agent. Probably would prefer some human opinions on it. Any better choices to go with next month or will this be an amazing upgrade? Thanks in advance!
